About

After discovering the amazing taste of moose somewhere in the freezing Arctic North during a one-year sojourn in Europe, Fiona abandoned all hope of curing her travel addiction and has given into the unconventional life ever since. Six years and countless ticket stubs later, she completed her dream of living, working and/or travelling on every continent except Antarctica before turning 25. (Her irrational fear of endless ice sheets is still a work in progress.)

She is an impulsive collector of moments: People, places and their stories fascinate her. ‘The Life of So’ records the most vivid of these she has come across. If the question ‘Isn’t there more to life than this?’ has ever crossed your mind, she wants to remind you with each post that the answer is a big fat YES.

Fiona is currently chasing her second big dream: Getting a law degree, and one day using it to pursue justice for and with people affected by human trafficking, displacement and extreme poverty.

Fiona is an impulsive collector of moments. People, places and their stories fascinate her. Having lived, worked and/or travelled on every continent except Antarctica before breathing the last of her first quarter century, she is now chasing the tails of a law degree, some ethereal notion of justice and, above all, the words to make sense of it all.
